Careers at OCSCompany

Join a Berkshire trade team that pays on time, runs a tidy van, and treats customers like adults.

We are always interested in hearing from skilled tradespeople who live within 30 minutes of Wokingham — painters, electricians, Gas Safe engineers, plumbers, and good all-round handypeople with their own van.

What we offer

  • PAYE or sub-contract — your choice, no pressure either way
  • Predictable schedule — most days are fully booked the week before
  • Quote support — we handle every quote so you can focus on the work
  • Tools, parts and consumables paid by the company on PAYE roles
  • Annual training budget — Gas Safe / Part-P / F-Gas refreshers

Who we look for

  • 10+ years on the tools (or relevant equivalent)
  • Right to work in the UK and a clean DBS check
  • Calm with customers, tidy on site
  • Willing to write 2-line job notes after each visit

Send a CV (or even just a few lines about your trade and your kit) to careers@ocscompany.co.uk. We reply to every application within a week.

What we stand for

Four promises. One local team.

Tidy work, tidy site

Dust sheets, floor protection and end-of-day clean-up are not optional — they are part of every job.

Fixed-price, no surprises

We quote in writing and stand by the number — so the conversations on site are about quality, not extras.

Customer-led pace

We finish the job to the standard the customer expected — not to the standard the diary required.

Documented & insured

Every regulated job is certified, photographed and signed off — paperwork issued the same day.
