We use low-VOC, water-based paints as standard. Better for indoor air, faster to dry, safe around children and pets. Surfaces get prepped properly first: filling, sanding, stain-blocking and priming before any topcoat goes on. Furniture is moved or covered, floors get breathable dust sheets, and we vacuum on the way out.

How we work
Day one is preparation: cover-up, sanding and a first coat of stain-blocker if it is needed. Day two onwards is finish coats, with a final walk-through in natural and lamp light to check sheen, coverage and edges. Most rooms are done in one or two days. A full property repaint usually runs five to ten working days depending on size and detail.

A standard double bedroom is normally one full working day for one painter — preparation, two coats of low-VOC emulsion on walls and ceiling, plus woodwork. A whole 3-bed house ranges from 5 to 10 working days depending on detail and woodwork.
We move and protect everything inside the room with breathable dust sheets — including beds, sofas and wardrobes. The only items we ask you to take out are very fragile pieces (artwork, electronics) and personal valuables.
Trade-grade, low-VOC, water-based emulsion as standard (Dulux Trade, Crown Trade, Johnstone's). Better for indoor air quality, faster drying and safe around children and pets. Premium ranges (Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Mylands) on request — quoted at cost.
Yes — facade walls, render, soffits, fascias, exterior woodwork and metal railings. We use weatherproof masonry paint with a 10-year manufacturer warranty and only paint when the forecast supports it.
Every painting job comes with a 12-month workmanship guarantee covering peeling, flaking and uneven coverage. Manufacturer paint warranties (typically 5–15 years on exterior masonry) run separately.
